You Are Not Forgotten by God (Luke 12:6

Luke 12:6–7

“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.

Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

You are not forgotten by God.

You are worth more than you think in the eyes of your Father in heaven.

Sometimes, because of the situations we go through, we begin to feel overwhelmed. We start believing lies that tell us we are nothing, that we are done, or that nobody cares about us.

But the truth is this:

God knows you.

God sees you.

God cares about you.

This powerful Bible verse in Luke 12:6–7 shows us that God does not only know your name—He knows every detail about your life.

He cares about you so deeply that even the hairs of your head are numbered.

Think about that.

Every day, we lose hair without even noticing it. We don’t remember it. But God sees it. He knows it. He cares about even the smallest detail of your life.

That shows how deeply God cares about you.

If God is concerned about something so small that you don’t even notice, how much more does He care about your life, your struggles, your pain, and your future?

This is a powerful reminder that your value does not come from your situation, your past, or what people say about you.

Your worth comes from God.

So don’t be afraid.

Don’t believe the lies of the enemy.

You are not forgotten by God.

You are loved.

You are seen.

You are valuable in His eyes.

Father God, thank You for Your love.

Thank You for Your mercy.

Thank You for caring for me—even when I don’t always recognize it.

Thank You for Your protection. There are attacks and struggles that I can see, and I know You are protecting me from them. But I also believe there are many things You protect me from that I do not even see. Thank You for covering me in ways I don’t even understand.

Today, through Your Word, You reminded me clearly that You care about me so deeply—that You even know when a single hair falls from my head. That is amazing. Thank You for caring about me more than I even care about myself.

Lord, forgive me for not recognizing this.

Forgive me for not thanking You enough.

Forgive me for the moments when I feel tired and begin to think wrongly about myself—when I feel worthless or start to hate myself.

Wash me clean by the blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who died on the cross for me.

Lord, help me.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit.

Strengthen me so I can fight against every voice of the enemy that tells me I am worthless, that I am done, or that nobody cares about me.

Even if no one else seems to care, I have peace today because I know You care about me—and You are enough.

Fill me with Your peace, Your love, and Your joy.
