Psalm 37:23-24 Bible verse about God guiding our steps and holding us when we stumble

God Will Not Let You Fall — Psalm 37:23–24

Psalm 37:23–24 (NIV)

The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in Him;

though he may stumble, he will not fall,

for the Lord upholds him with His hand.”

Sometimes we misunderstand what it means when the Bible says that someone delights in the Lord.

It does not mean that a person is perfect.

It does not mean that they never struggle or never make mistakes.

Every human being fails somewhere.

But a person who delights in God is someone whose heart belongs to Him.

It is someone who desires to obey God and who keeps returning to Him with repentance when they fall.

God values obedience more than anything else.

When a person truly desires to walk with Him, even if they stumble, they do not remain far from Him. They come back, ask for forgiveness, and continue walking with Him.

That is the kind of heart that delights God.

So if today you are facing difficulties, remember this:

Hard seasons do not mean God has abandoned you.

Sometimes you may stumble.

Sometimes you may feel weak.

But if your heart is sincere toward God, He will not let you fall completely.

This difficult moment may only be a season, not your final destination.

If you remain faithful to Him, God Himself will hold you and guide your steps.

And the promise of this verse is clear:

Even when you stumble, God will not let you go.

GOD BLESS YOU
