When a Door Opens… It Is Not Always From God

Some of the doors in your life were never opened by God.

And if you are not careful, the enemy can delay your destiny with something that looks like a blessing.

Many times when God is about to shift you — when you are close to your purpose — life suddenly becomes harder.

Pressure increases.

Finances get tight.

Family problems appear.

Confusion rises.

And right there, in that moment of pressure, the enemy shows up.

Not with destruction.

But with opportunity.

When Opportunity Is Actually a Test

In Matthew 4:8–9, when Jesus was about to step into His ministry, the devil showed Him all the kingdoms of the world.

He showed Him glory.

He showed Him power.

He offered Him influence.

It looked like promotion.

It looked like authority.

It looked like success.

But it was not from God.

It was a shortcut.

It was destiny without obedience.

It was a crown without the cross.

The enemy knew who Jesus was.

And sometimes the enemy knows what God is about to do in your life before you even see it yourself.

So he opens a door.

Not to bless you.

But to delay you.

The Dark Before Dawn

Always remember:

The night becomes darker before morning.

Pressure increases before breakthrough.

Resistance rises when destiny is close.

And when things get hard, that is when the enemy opens something that looks easier.

A job that pays more but steals your time from God.

An opportunity that looks profitable but disconnects you from your purpose.

A relationship that feels good but shifts your direction.

The enemy does not always attack with destruction.

Sometimes he attacks with distraction.

When Opportunity Looks Like Blessing

In Genesis 13:10–11, the Bible says that Lot lifted up his eyes and saw that the land was green and well-watered.

It looked like blessing.

It looked prosperous.

It looked like opportunity.

And he chose it.

But it was near Sodom.

Everything green is not from God.

Everything profitable is not purposeful.

Lot chose by sight instead of spiritual discernment.

And it cost him.

Discernment Before Every Door

Not every open door is divine.

Not every opportunity is alignment.

Not every promotion is purpose.

Before you walk through a door, pray.

Ask God:

“Is this aligned with the reason You brought me here?”

Because the best thing that can happen in your life is not money.

It is not status.

It is not comfort.

It is walking through the door God opened.

When God opens a door:

• It brings peace

• It strengthens your spirit

• It aligns with your calling

• It may not look easy

• But it leads to destiny

Closing

The enemy opens doors to delay you.

God opens doors to position you.

Choose carefully.

Pray first.

Because some doors may look green…

But spiritually they are dry.

GOD BLESS YOU
